"A week too late" shout out from PDJT or perhaps a Realpolitik savvy two year heads up so people have the time to organize a successful primary challenge to Chip now that they know PDJT will back them.
Plus, now Chip is on every ones radar.
Perhaps Chip will become the next Lizard Cheney.
