the only "electric" car I'd consider is an older Prius because they go 400k miles and the battery is "cheap" to replace, like $4000, compared to the 20k or 30k to replace a battery on the far far lower volume electrics.
A full EV just isn't a good idea unless you have lots of cash to fix it, and only drive around town. Or only use it on a lease.
