It really is. Oddly my "Nothing can kill me" switch kicked off when my daughter was born. My son didn't feel that way, he has good uncles & my parents are amazing. We all live close & help each other with projects constantly.
I don't know why my daughter caused me to want to slow down, taking safer & more calculated risks in life.
I love all my daughters & sons. I remind them often "I am so grateful you are my son/daughter."
It brightens my whole day when they tell me they lave having me as a dad.
For anyone who hasn't told their children specifically that you are so grateful they are your son/daughter, or that you love that God brought them specifically into your life, start today.
There is something entirely different to a child that hears their parent personalize that love, vs the "I love you" that is often said.
Congrats! I love my daughters with the joy & challenges they bring.
Enjoy it. All of my little ones are growing up way too fast it seems.
Me too. It is crazy how time can go by so slowly and quickly at the same time!
