Some of this could be interpreted to mean CONSENT, COMPLY, GO ALONG TO GET ALONG

Granted, but we are to be able to give reasons, not arguments. The only one I see is 5, but there are ways around that- A real debate is more like " Come let us reason together" than futile arguing.
