The local health department tried to push the entire bullshit narrative on us at work- wear masks (which would cause hypoxia with the heat that we endured), ask employees to get the bio-weapon death jab, 6 feet apart, etc. We just kept asking them (all quotes are paraphrased from memory), with every statement they made, "Is a 'mandate' a law?", but they kept pushing. Eventually, they replied, "No, but we can make it very hard on your business if you don't comply." My boss at the time then responded, "Bring it on. Do your worst, chickenshits (quoting the movie Blade, his favorite)." The lackey bureaucrat then replied, "Well, there are many of your customers that, I'm sure, have complied with the mandates. Do you want to lose those customers?" My boss then said, "Yes. I don't want compliant weaktit sheep in my establishment." My boss was fearless and could not care less about what anyone thought or said. PTSD had pretty much erased any sort of "shame" or care for any useless, non-tangible opinions that any pathetic insect might have. I think, eventually, that they realized that there was nothing that they could do to us, and gave up, as it was never a law in Michigan. Whitler was eventually neutered by the MI Supreme Court, and that was the end of it.
