I am also interested in where the “financially destitute” came up with $5000-$10,000 to be brought into the U.S. How many U.S. families have an extra $10,000 just lying around and we are talking 10,000 crossing the border every day?

Absolutely. They travel without suitcases or extra clothes. Clothes are clean, skin and hair clean. Even if traveling on a train or plane you look rumpled and fatigued!
