People are “rate locked”. They have the super low interest rate loans that were available a short time ago, they can’t afford to move because they would have to trade those low interest loans for the current high interest loans. The only homes coming on the market in my area are estate homes of elderly who have passed away.

My friend is a real estate agent, she said the market is bad because of interest rate and nobody could afford it. She is now doing rental management.
