Their Ministry Impact statement (here's 2022's) says there were 52K or so "Faith Decisions", which means athletes / coaches that signed up on a system that provides resources. Then it tracks how many bibles they distribute, how many camps they held, etc. So you're right, this is not about "accepting Jesus", but about numbers that the Board of Directors can advertise and hope for fundraising.
