it's interdasting that a few days ago, the graphic on the right-hand side referred to the element Thorium, whereas in today's graphic the Thorium icon has been replaced by a funky energetic image.

The blue/pink energetic illustration in today's image has sometimes been used to refer generically to 'zero point energy', so maybe the creators of the debt clock have started to re-think how they want to present to the public their planned changes to the energy economy.
