Fallen angels who followed Satan when he fell. I’m no seminary scholar, but Jesus will be the one and only to defeat them all. It’ll occur after the tribulation on the Day of Judgement.
Some have already been confined to chains, but some of those will be released during the tribulation.
”And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day—“
Jude 1:6 ESV
This is really interesting! So I take it that at one point in history demons did not exist on Earth and humans didn't have to deal with them? Something caused them to enter our reality and basically create Evil. Higher Beings, Angels, God etc have a plan to restore Earth to a peaceful existence?
I recommend you go find Chuck Missler video “ The Days of Noah”, it’s a very good and interesting starting point if you want to learn more about this war that has been ongoing since, well, mankind’s beginning.
I agree, I wish I had found his teachings before he passed away. Very insightful messages, I like how he uses critical thinking as well as science in his explanations. His messages on transhumanism are very on point.
The spirits of the nephilim which are human/angel hybrids formed in Gen 6 and later killed by the flood are also speculated to be demons. Hence why they're always trying to reinhabit human bodies via possession
Again, I'm not the best at this because 1) I am a human and 2) Im just really getting into the Bible.
Best I could do is tell you to research it, it’s all eye opening. But off hand I can think of this as an answer:
”For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.“
Colossians 1:16 ESV
In the end Gods son, Jesus, will be more honored, loved and respected through the longsuffering, patience, humility, servanthood, and death, rather than through fixing it with the snap of his fingers. In return, the joy of those who love him will be insurmountable.

why dont god just snap his fingers and remove them from existence, especially when they Fell etc?
why not the same for cancer, AIDS, natural disaster?
