I'm a woman and it's been a struggle. I quit my job for a year when we moved to a new state a couple of years ago, but that was around the time inflation started skyrocketing. I went back to work to help pay down our debts and our mortgage, but also, my family gave me an attitude about not working, saying things like "it must be nice." Like it's something to be ashamed of. I am praying that once we get everything paid off, I can start building a home business with the farm we have now and never have to work outside the home again. It shouldn't have to be this way, but the system was designed to make women feel like they have to be men.
