Ranking DOD Official and Military Brass will sometimes utilize them for normal travel in some circumstances. The improved communications equipment allowing them to continue working with relative ease.

If National Guard/Regular Military are responding to a situation domestically. Such as Natural Disaster. Or there’s a particularly large scale domestic training exercise. You can sometimes also see 1 deployed to assist in coordination.
