The Department of Justice has given the state until Jan. 3 to say it won’t implement SB 4 or face being sued by the Biden administration.

If Texas just ignores the DOJ what could they actually do about it? Bring in the Army? The National guard answers to the Governor, not the President, right? If the federal government ignores the law, immigration in this case, how can they call on the law to control Texas?
