The word KIDNAPPING originated after 1600 when approx 100 thousand mostly Irish children between 5 and 12 were stolen out of Ireland sent to America and sold as "indentured" servants. they were told if they lived to 21 they would be set free. 90 percent died before they reached 21. and that's just the Irish children, woman and men that were brought over would total close to the number of blacks who came to this country as slave. In 1619 there were already hundreds of Irish slaves in America.
that's interesting & would explain something I read recently; the Sioux sent help to Ireland during the famine/1800's. I see a lot of similarities between the Native American and Irish, will have to keep reading...
And just remembered... that's what Stormy Daniels is; native and Irish https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1317917/trivia/
You know when I went to Northern Ireland in the early 80’s, Mom is a Catholic from outside of Belfast, they loved the American Indians. They really felt as kindred spirits with them
thanks, appreciate the first hand accounts🐸 & I’ve heard the same things about the Germans, they visit the powwows at local reservations. Also a lot of Catholic influence on the native Americans, so maybe they are friends from way back, the lost tribes perhaps…another native & Catholic story; Father DeSmet was good friends with Sitting Bull & wanted him to convert to Catholicism, but Sitting Bull had issues with monogamy, didn’t want to give up his women so he refused;)
