it's so satisfying watching the uniparty lose control.

I try, but it’s amazing how ingrained the R vs D dichotomy is. How almost every difference between them is engineered to stoke anger at the supposed other side, and how this ultimately just benefits both “sides” as one.
It’s even more difficult to convince people that Donald Trump and the MAGA agenda exists outside of this false dichotomy.
It’s just one of those things that, once it finally clicks and you can see it, you see it everywhere and you can’t unsee it. But getting people to that point is difficult.
There is a false left / right divide but currently the right is more likely to address the false left / right divide while the left is more likely to exacerbate it.
I fully agree in a generalized sense. But with plenty of exceptions.
Someone like Chris Christie, for example, is likely to be no different than electing a Democrat and would further the divide.
For sure, RINOs are a perfect example for it not to just be a decision based on hopping on a party bandwagon.. My angle is that I won’t ignore the real difference in ideologies as if it’s all the same in the end. Both my hands are controlled by the same brain, but I’ve broken my left hand, not my right. They can be controlled by the same entity in general but still relevant “differences in sides” pointed out that factor into what’s happening.
