Breathe… can anyone find me, on their Secretary of State website, that the Internal Revenue Service is listed as current?
🧐 Research Wanted 🤔
I’ve searched several states, nothing. There used to be several records within each state. Some states I’ve looked at the name is available. Please grab a screenshot and save it. Do they still have the right to collect?
They never had the right, that's the fun thing about it!!!
They were registered, multiple times for different locations. I saw it years ago on the SOS website, without understanding why they were required to register. Do they register in any state? Do they have authority to collect any longer? Why aren’t the old, presumably dissolved companies not listed, etc., etc. Does this have to do with Trump and the treasury? Is there some sort of legislation exempting them from registering now, when they were previously required to register? I’m just pointing out what I’ve stumbled upon. Please check your state, maybe a couple more and let me know what you find. Screenshot, but not necessary to share.
What’s Cta? I find nothing pre-2017.
How is this relevant?
I had the weirdest thing happen. I had an entity I forgot to file taxes on and they sent it to collections. Like a separate company which seems really fucking weird. Isn’t the IRS collections!? Lol
Yes, exactly. Private collection company for the federal reserve. Please check your state (surrounding states too if you can) and let me know if they’re listed to conduct business in the state. Screenshot save results please. Ty
Yes for WA. https://ccfs.sos.wa.gov/?_gl=11lsesbs_gaMTg3NzgzNjc4OS4xNzAyNjcxNzQ3_ga_7B08VE04WV*MTcwNDIyMzU2MC4xLjEuMTcwNDIyMzU4MC4wLjAuMA..#/BusinessSearch
I find this same entity in Iowa, Des Moines chapter… dig.
Hypothesis, are they funding DEI? Exclusively? Under incongruent collection letter headings?
No, Internal Revenue Service result comes back with one result… Name: ASSOCIATION FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF MINORITIES IN THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE SEATTLE CHAPTER
What exactly is this about?
I saw the Internal Revenue Service listed with my state SOS several years back, what appeared to be a separate filing for each irs location. Now… they don’t exist in several states I’ve rescearched, including the state which several that had previously had many registered for each location. What does it mean, I’m not sure. Did trump giving authority to the treasury have an impact? Is the irs out of business? Are they trying to collect illegally? Am I off my rocker and missing something? All questions I have.
Shows up in my state under the "taxable entity" search.
Florida has 3 companies listed using Internal Revenue Services as "businesses" . One is owned by Dacama LLC and the other 2 are individuals (1 living in Miami and the other individual lives in Davie Florida and that individual filed "dissolution" of Corporation Sept 2020)
I’m seeing similar, and in one state the name is available. Thanks for checking, I’ll be looking closer this weekend. They used to have pages of registrations in my state.
how does one look this up? I look up my state and it gives several locations in different cities within the state, so I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.
Search your state name, Secretary of State, business entry search (or something like that) type in Internal Revenue Service. See what it pulls up
