I don’t really get this. Why would they replace him with a body double who looks and sounds just awful, forgets shit, says nonsensical things, looks confused etc. wouldn’t they want someone that’s at least coherent?

Seems much more likely he’s got dementia and therefore has good and bad moments. Some he seems almost normal and some where he’s barely above vegetative state.

I’ve seen side by side comparison photos and they are not convincing imo
