I hate to be too negative but to say it’ll be an uphill battle is a major understatement. Even worse, they see that sentiment is turning against them so they’re preparing for that future and digging in deeper like a tick.

This is a bit of a longer read but for anyone interested it’s quite disturbing. A guy goes into detail about how they control congress. They’re not even being secretive anymore because they know that’s how much control they have

Yep pretty much. Laws for thee, not for me

“President Donald Trump's administration wants the International Criminal Court to amend its founding document to ensure it does not investigate the Republican president and his top officials, a Trump administration official said, threatening new U.S. sanctions on the court if it did not.

If the court does not act on this U.S. demand and two others - dropping investigations of Israeli leaders over the Gaza war and formally ending an earlier probe of U.S. troops over their actions in Afghanistan - Washington may penalize more ICC officials and could sanction the court itself, the official said.

Whether it’s relevant or not depends on which conspiracies you believe in, but jack ruby was born Jacob Rubenstein.

According to a quick search, most gas stations prices aren’t controlled by the franchisers and individual gas stations set their own prices.

Which makes sense because there’s such a small margin that corporate control of prices would probably not allow franchisees to make any profit at all

Personally I can’t be too hard on gas station owners. On average their profit margin on gas is like 2% which is extremely low, that’s why you almost never see them without convenience stores attached which has higher margin items.

Wouldn’t it depend on when they get a delivery of gas? They can’t lower their prices until they get a new delivery at a lower price

?

The White House released the mou and it clearly states Iran gets 300 billion for reconstruction.

Did something happen since yesterday? lol

That for sure. Also Iran and being openly bought by the Israel lobby and people like Miriam Adelson. The latter, he openly admits to.

If he had just stuck to a generally America first focus he would have great approval ratings and we wouldn’t have this fractured Republican Party.

Just so I’m clear, is the idea that they committed major voter fraud to keep Pratt off the ballot because he was going to make a major upset and beat Bass? Why else would they do it? It just doesn’t make sense to me.

Pratt had basically zero chance of winning the election so why commit the voter fraud? LA has had one republican mayor in the last 60 years. Nobody has really explained it in a way that makes any logical sense.

They say he voted against those specific things but how many of the bills that he voted against were single issue bills? Or is it more likely he was voting against something else in those bills?

This is the bullshit they do. For example they make a bill called the “don’t punch babies bill” and then add in a rider that gives a billion dollars to pbs or something. Then when someone votes against it they can say their enemies want to punch babies.

These tactics work but I think they’re working less and less as time goes on and people wake up

Really? Midterms almost always swing to the other party opposite what the president is. Plus with all the infighting among republicans over America first or Israel first and other things, I personally think it’s gonna go largely in favor of the left

Just wait until you hear about the mandatory ai monitoring systems they just mandated for 2027 and beyond cars.

But they already mandate air bags, anti lock brakes, backup cameras, tire pressure monitoring, and maybe a couple other things.

I do agree it makes no sense and is bullshit though.

Yes, this is far worse than any mandatory safety or efficiency feature. We’re gonna have to jailbreak our cars in the future. Not looking forward to that

I’m not saying the vax didn’t contribute to rising rates but it started rising way before 2020. More like late 1990’s. I think the biggest reasons are simply our food/water and environmental factors like microplastics, like she said.

https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2025/02/12/16/89374569-14389701-The_above_graph_shows_the_rise_of_colorectal_cancer_in_Americans-a-3_1739376863825.jpg

Honestly I think the vax did cause some cancers but it was probably a statistically small amount. But it definitely caused a statistically significant increase in heart issues and of course sudden deaths.

No. Cruising speed at altitude is 500-600mph. Obviously they were going slower than that but also much faster than the speed they would be going on the ground/runway

1
LandoNorris 1 point ago +1 / -0

You’re not wrong but I wasn’t trying to give a perfect example, just pointing out that the speed something is going makes all the difference as to what damage it will do when it encounters another object

3
LandoNorris 3 points ago +3 / -0

Not sure what you mean. The 100 and 500 are just rough estimates of airplane speed on the ground vs in the air. The 16.5k was the number of “hearts” on the post

10
LandoNorris 10 points ago +10 / -0

16.5k people with zero understanding of basic physics and/or not knowing how planes work lol.

Yes there’s a big difference between a plane going 100 mph on the ground vs 500 mph in the air.

If I throw a golf ball at you it hurts a little, if I blast it out of a cannon, it tears a hole through your body

From my perspective, it seems like one side is talking about specific issues and problems they have with Israel, while the other side (like this post) hand waves it away and says retarded shit like “Jooooos” as if that negates any argument one might have against Israel.

I was actually talking to my dad and he says “it’s not always the Jews” and I hadn’t even mentioned Israel or Jews in the conversation. Like what the hell is even going on? Lol
