This strikes me as odd given he's been exonerated.

It also makes me comfy. He's just sitting there watching it unfold, quiet and cozy, as bombs drop around us.

Any thoughts?

Falls in line with optics and Trump needing to stay aside and just let the chips fall where they may. People who hate Trump may be inclined to side with the guilty just because "Trump."

Instead he's letting these people twist in the wind/be exposed in the media with no input from him. It's better this way.
