Indeed. We had twins in September. Denied their shots despite their frequent reminders about how your child can spontaneously bleed out without the vitamin k. When it came time to do the blood tests for the state, they poked one of our girls foot at least four times and had two different nurses trying to get enough blood out to fill the spots on the paper. Failed the test because there wasn't enough blood on the sheet!
Home birth wasn't an option for us with the twins. Thankfully we were at an awesome hospital too, because one of them was having some breathing difficulties for the first few days. All is well now, thank God.
Oh my, I’m glad you made it through ok. My twins were like that except the one with breathing issues had more serious things and we had to stay for almost two weeks.
We were there for 8 days total. She was just forgetting to breathe while eating or sucking on a pacifier and her oxygen saturation was dropping because of it. It was pretty routine for the doctors and nurses, but scared the absolute shit out of me. They're over 3 months old now and kicking ass. Hope all is well with yours!

Thankfully we didn’t have to do any of the state tests recently, though we had to do a home birth. That means no poking at all for the baby
