I just had an "encounter" with an atheist Q supporter here. I don't believe he is a shill or anything like that, but the dialog got me to start wondering.
Trump is pretty clearly Christian. Q posted bible verses making it pretty clear that he or they are Christian as well.
Based on what I was told by my debate partner, we Christians are spreading stupidity across the globe, and he feels it is his duty to show us how stupid we are (paraphrased - not his exact words.)
So here's my question: If you vehemently believe that there is no God, no higher power whatsoever, and all of this universe is just random happenstance, then why do you follow Q and support Trump?
How do you reconcile Q and atheism?
Yep.. I'm with you on that. I used to think this way too, and still do. In a perfect world like in Star Trek, the scenarios you presented would be perfect. But in the current state of the world, this is not possible. The people in government who are muslims or Jews would try to implement their laws (survival of the fittest). Even if this is not encouraged or supported, they will always, ALWAYS, try to overtake. As for the atheist, they will lean towards science and may not see the ethical/moral sides of advanced technologies. In the end, the only option is Christianity (as leader). Even an orchestra cannot function without a conductor.
With Christianity leading, NO children would be harmed. Peace would be possible. Technology would be balanced w/ question of ethics. Fairness, Justice, for all races, religions, and colors would actually be possible. Anyway, just my 2 cent. If I'm wrong I'm wrong. But this is how I feel at this time.
The problem is that you accept that as the norm. I do not subscribe to it and want government to get back to basic government of our local townships, cities, states and ultimately the federal government.... you know, fixing potholes, picking up the trash, etc. Not all this other obscure bullshit that occurs that wastes millions of tax dollars from you and me.
gotcha.. government should just be administrative, taking care of cleaning trash, fixing, construction, roads, keeping order, etc, and stay away from social issues. But then our laws have always been based on Christian values whether you like it or not. The laws are based on the 10 commandments so where do you draw the line?
Where is speeding or running a stop sign a Christian law or value? No where mentioned in the Bible nor the 10 commandments. Our local level laws are man made laws in which a civilized society said "this makes sense and how we shall live and govern our communities".
Traffic laws there for a reason to protect school children getting on and off the bus. Motor carrier laws to protect folks from semis. We can go all day about man-made laws of a decent people getting together and saying we want this protection, whether it be X, Y Z.
