America is NOT OK! I feel we’re being pushed into poverty so that the government can sweep in and “save” us all at the last min. Most people live paycheck-paycheck, if they are lucky to even have a job. The middle class has disappeared and the lower class is living on the streets and in their cars.

Child tax credit is delayed over the year UBI for people with kids Welfare queens and fosters abusers claiming multiple credits bloats an already broken system. Felonies, addiction, etc do not keep you from getting it either, which creates no expectation of civic duty. End child tax credit and be honest UBI ALREADY EXISTS and its current tax based iteration keeps people poor, which keeps people stressed, which makes people sick, which makes them more poor....
Almost like THEY designed it all on purpose
