I don't think there's a etymological relation between nazis and ashkenazi jews. The ashkenazis existed long before the nazi party, and the nazi party didn't even call itself the nazi party, they called themselves national socialists. Nazis were a western name for them.

The actual name was Nationalsozialist which pronounced in German starts with the sound Nazi... it's really that simple
