Over 50 years ago, I visited a friend who moved to Washington DC. Her mom took me to the Capitol, where a congressman invited me to sit in the Speaker's chair. My, how times have changed. When Congress met, we sat in a balcony with other members of the interested public, to listen. All of us were given copies of the agenda.
