When i was in elementary school, we had to make a pattern and then present it, and my teacher wouldn’t recognize something equivalent to like 12345 as a repeating pattern, which is what i came up with. I tried to explain that that itself was one repetition and the next one would be exactly the same, but apparently not. Maybe it was the teacher just being dumb, or them telling her they cant have that shit, but idk fuck them
