Just an opinion, but there is about a zero percent chance Loyd Austin would go anywhere near Ukraine. Austin and others in our Government know all too well Ukraine is only hanging on by a thread.

They also know the thread is being supplied by Putin for the purpose of decimating any semblance of a military within the borders of Ukraine. Even if someone like Austin doesn’t follow established protocols, he’s still going to look out for his personal comfort and safety. He wouldn’t risk traveling to Ukraine.
