So back in the day it used to be a joke in the bitcoin community as to how many headlines would announce "bitcoin is dead." Every time there was a 10% drop. However once the institutions got involved the tone was reversed and the populace was subjected to news articles imploring everyone to get on board of course followed by sudden drops and the usual fluctuations.

This exactly. Couple superbowls ago we had Matt Damon doing crypto commercials, hyping everybody up, then BAM.... bear market.
