Let’s be real, he didn’t leave his laptops (I believe there were actually three) with nuclear-level information on them, in some random repair shop, and then never retrieve them, by negligence.
IMHO, we’re watching a movie, Hunter was forced to accept a deal to spare himself from the fate that No-Name was given, and he’s playing this role as instructed.
What i never could figure out is why leave them in the shop knowing what is there. These pedo swamp creatures have tech ppl, why didnt he use them. Him being stupid or drugged up isnt enough of an excuse. I almost want to say he left the laptop there on purpose as instructed by white hats and told the shop owner a set of very specific instructions. But that raises the question on why this perticular store.

Yes that walk out was purposefully done. Dramatic. Over the top in fact.
The second part of this is the repair owner knew "exactly" who to get a hold of, and didn't just go to the "General FBI" or compromised factions.

This is the correct answer.
