Right? And some of the shit he passed in Florida either didn’t change anything and was just for show, or, had major negative repercussions because what he did pass had too many loopholes.

Example of something that was just for show:

He passed a law allowing certain trades in FL to obtain a state license for one fee and work anywhere in the state.
But, he left it open to the counties to still be able to decide whether or not to allow this license to be used. So, in my county, even though I can obtain the state license for my trade, the county still requires all of their licensing that was already there to be used. Operating in this county without their licensing results in thousands of dollars in fines.

End result, nothing actually changed, counties will still require their own licensing and this was all for show.

Example of something that had negative results:

He passed a law making it so insurance companies can’t just drop you from their policies because they don’t want to insure anymore due to storms, disasters etc.

But he never prevented them from raising their rates through the roof.

End result, your insurance company can’t drop you, but they can raise your rates so high that you can’t afford it and drop them instead. I.E. my business insurance when from 10K for the year to 50K for the year. I dropped them. Once enough people dropped, insurance companies stopped operating in Florida.
