I don't totally get the issue. Apparently government subsidies of fuel costs were cut off. Did I get that right? But government subsidies are socialist bullshit. So how are these "far right" protests? Color me confused.

Aes, I am in Germany and the reason reported was fuel subsidies were cut off. Note - the government has a HUGE budget shortfall for all their fuckery. Cutting everything to Citizens but not refugees.
