I like to go outside when it’s 50 degrees without a coat. This is usually when my body has adjusted to the cold and it’s suddenly no longer -20 degrees on a daily basis. It’s very normal to have two months of summer and the rest of the year some form of winter. Your body does change the fat types to account for cold and it won’t feel as cold once adjusted. With kids it’s not a great idea to be outside for long when it’s near 0 degrees. We can’t play in the snow if we don’t go outside when it’s below 32 degrees :)
