Have been praying for our nation and our elections many times today.
I will join you in prayer again tonight.
Our Father in heaven, You are our sovereign Leader. You bless the leaders that revere You. You bless the people who revere You. We read in Your Word over and over Your guiding light helps us make wise decisions. Help us as our elections go on to take seriously our privilege to vote. Help our confidence, Lord, in the integrity of our elections, by demonstrating what is true about them. Help us be courageous and persistent in seeking fair and free elections. May we come to You in prayer and conversation as we consider who and what we vote for. After we have cast our ballots, help us continue to seek Your guidance throughout the counting and onward into governing. Don't let us be deceived. Keep us in Your care. In Jesus' name, Amen.
