The flag specifically was not defended. The person and the right to the various beliefs of the hundreds of people creating The Chosen were defended. The posession and placement of that pride flag seemed selfish or ignorant and created quite a stir on something incredibly popular about Jesus. The production company didn't go full retard or anything close to it like some possible shills would like everyone to believe. That event was disappointing but it's naive to think every person in a broader group will consistently represent the whole perfectly. The article is a good take on what went down. Angel Studios is not perfect but they're a long way from DS.
Seems to me that a production company has the right to ban any and all external influences including the gay pride flag, political clothes/pics/slogans, right to life/abortion rights apparel or slogans. If you remain neutral and an all that seems to be the best route for any and all businesses.
I don’t care if they have gay members of their crew but the pride flag has become a symbol of something sinister. It’s no longer just about homosexuality and that’s where I have a problem. I don’t ascribe to cancel culture but it isn’t a good look to defend that symbol on the set of a Christian production company.
You have got to be joking. Good God man. Go back to the Pub. You'll be getting my Irish up!

As far as I can tell, Angel Studios is not Deep State.
Angel Studios made "Sound of Freedom".
There was a trans pride flag photographed on their set last summer. Not making an accusation. Just pointing out that it was there and it was later defended by the production company. https://www.christianpost.com/news/the-chosen-actors-slams-critic-of-pride-flag.html
