The Governor of Massachusetts may chose to force citizens to house stranger their homes. When was the last time that happened in Massachusetts? (How long till it's mandatory?)

The Governor of Massachusetts may chose to force citizens to house stranger their homes. When was the last time that happened in Massachusetts?
I would argue that this violates the third amendment of the Bill of Rights:
Amendment III
No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
I have an angel on one shoulder who is telling me exactly what you said there.
I have a devil on the other one who is whispering "Screw them they voted for this when they voted Democrat."
Can’t distinguish between the two. As an American (idiot or not), we all benefit from the bill of rights.
I will fight for their right to be stupid and say whatever they want to say (even when it’s hard) because they are also covered by the first amendment.
I mean…if they want to willingly house the enemy, that’s their choice…but they can’t be forced.
That bad Devil says he would love to see the rich liberals of Mass be forced to house the illegals in their guest quarters. Eating their food. Using their toilets. All in the name of 'tolerance' and for 'Diversity: our greatest strength™'. Meanwhile they're not allowed to criticize it because it would make them seem racist or, even worse, a Trump Supporter!
I get it.
I would relish this, but the American in me says: "No!"
summer homes on the vineyard and the cape are not necessities, surely they can put these people up in them for a few decades. also, they need to keep paying all the increases in property taxes as well.
Yes, this.
