No problem. No One was going to watch it anyway.
Trump should say he wants the debate to be held and that he will attend if Nikki does.
Once it is back on, say, "I was just kidding! I thought you knew that!"
Might as well troll them a bit and at the same time demonstrate the Trump Power.
Would they cancel twice? They'll look weak.
If they keep the debate? They'll look weak because it will be a ratings disaster.
Trump gets a laugh, we all do, and the MSM and supposed candidates all get weakened.

If they re-air on the condition that he comes, they probably wouldn't set anything without a contract.
With a career in commercial real estate Trump knows a lot about contracts. He either wouldn't agree to sign one or would add language that lets him out.
