NYC HS principal lashes out at parents who bashed decision to force students to go remote as migrants sheltered at school
A Brooklyn high school principal tore into parents who criticized her decision to have students attend class remotely the day after migrants sheltered there.
Some families can't afford a broadband internet connection, they prefer to pay their electricity bill and to heat their homes. Paying $1000.00 + or much more per year for an internet connection is rediculous and not essential for survival. At the end of the month you have nothing to show for it except that microsoft used your broadband to update their defective operating system with neverending software patches. Point here is that online education for kids is substandard and not all kids can even have this as a minimum.
We know about the substandard of online education during lock-down right?
You are absolutely right. Children need to physically interact with their teachers and classmates to become truly social, responsible and gain new knowledge. Screen time just can't to that.
Great have the teachers groom you kids the woke way NICE
The teachers could easily push their woke agenda online just the same. Policies have to be in place beforehand, if the teachers break the rules, they are dismissed. My point was however, that online education for children is substandard and any families cannot afford broadband internet. Real priorities for most families is paying utilities like electricity and natural gas to heat their homes, these are essential for LIFE while internet is NOT.
Funny, isn't it, how many of those in positions of power "lash out" at uppity peons?
Yes. When they cannot lie their way out of their decisions. Lash out.
You pay taxes to build schools, now they are taking your kids out of those schools. Taxes are just a way to keep you a slave to the state. Sad that this is occuring, but I imagine a few libs are finally seeing what is actually happening in this country.
Talk to my lib friends and family. They will never wake up. I think some dug too deep and will never see the lights.
If you live in NY, God keeps you safe, but better not send your child to this school.
Hmmmm, I thought that the High School Principal was a city employee and was paid by the tax payer? That said, why can’t all schools be taught at home and eliminate the schools, utilities and the lib teachers?
