Measles is so dangerous that parents in the UK used to send their kids to "measles parties" to get it over with. Curiously, the parents themselves rarely caught it - probably because they partied when young.
But I should mention that it can cause birth defects and blindness - allegedly.

I came from a family of 6 kids. We all shared measles, chicken pox, or anything that came around. We all survived !
