Sure no prob. But then riddle me this: Why is the functionality offered? It would stand to reason to block/delete such functionality, would it not?

the rule is no url's because people can do that.
Normally, perhaps. I got a link box. So maybe, there is a cross pollination between link post and text-post, as link-post was the first I accidentally clicked on and then moved to text post.
Otherwise, as you say: it would not be possible.
