It's not the government's job to provide your food, water, shelter, or daycare. It's your own job. Every single one of those things is the responsibility of the private sector. We used to understand that, but now we have communists who have so inculcated people's minds that even so-called "conservatives" think it's the government's job to provide for their living. We need to get back to understanding what "limited government" actually means.
"Advanced technology" is meaningless without the details. The devil is in those details. We were promised "free energy" from solar panels, but then we figured out the devil in those little details: it's expensive to manufacture, it's extremely demanding on rare metals, it's difficult to recycle, it's not particularly durable during extreme weather, and it only works when the sun is shining in an optimal position overhead. It turns out to achieve parity with what we have, we need a ton of excess capacity and batteries, all of which aren't free or pollution-free - to get our "free energy."
And don't get me started on magic "cures" for cancer. There is no magic bullet because cancer, by definition, is your own cells with a few extra genes turned on or off when they shouldn't be. Even the best chemo agents don't offer great "cure" rates, and often those remission periods are a lot shorter than we'd wish. I absolutely hate the kind of snake oil salesmen who prey on people's fears of death and emotional connections to their loved ones to advance themselves.
If these people know about magic "advanced technologies" that Lockheed-Martin has, they need to explain why the company hasn't used its unique knowledge to establish a monopoly position on this new market. Put it out there. Sell it. Sell it for extortionate amounts of money and get filthy rich. If the tech is as "advanced" as they claim, people will pay. And yet, it all stays "hidden." Lol.
This guy from Redacted is a bullshit artist, and this kind of fact-absent claim is something I've heard enough of from him to stop taking him seriously.
