I think Dr. Carson would be an excellent choice. Besides his credentials, his skills, demeanor - and yes skin colour - would help "soften the blow" for undecided voters.
Somebody bombastic such as Tucker Carlson, Vivek, or Kari Lake would be used as a rally call against Donald Trump. Would love to see one of the aforementioned three as VP, but might be counterproductive at this time.
Tucker Carlson: US Ambassador to Canada (Honk!)
Vivek Ramaswampy: United States National Herpetarium Director (🐍🐊🦎)
Kari Lake: National Voter Fraud Investigative Bureau and Tribunal Director (may not seem high level enough, but it is extremely important)
Ben Carson: VP or Head of Covid Investigative Crimes and Tribunals Director (He knows his medicine and science!)
