What states/counties don’t allow you to vote for different parties during the primaries? 🧐 Research Wanted 🤔

I can’t get a good google search and swear there were areas that restricted your primary to the registerd party only

Maryland's primaries (both parties) are closed. Independent voters cannot vote during the primaries. It's irritating because there are almost as many unaffiliated voters as there are GOP voters in MD, hence the reason our state can claim it's 2-to-1 Democrat. Just pick a side and have some say in the process.
