They don't have God-given rights over there, those countries remain the opposite of us. People there have only the rights granted by their superiors, which of course can change at any time. I e. in the USA we start with Natural Rights, and the Constitution is us giving government certain limited rights, while over the pond they start with no rights and are granted some at the will of their 'betters.'
