Well, if one disagree with an issue, why not vote against it?
Walking out is just infantile, and it is obstructive, if not enough people are left for a proper vote. Kinda the purpose of being an elected official is to represent the people, and therefore vote on issues on the floor. Walking out defeats that purpose.

Mind you, was there another reason why they refused to vote? Perhaps they weren't satsified that the issue was ready to be voted on. Who knows.
It seems a wee bit convenient to get rid of a whole slate of Republicans in an election-year.
