California faces a "life-threatening" storm this week that will intensify Sunday through Monday and continue to pour rain throughout the week.

Any storm is life threatening if you're not prepared or stupid. ;-)

I'm in the Santa Cruz mountains and we got lots of rain and wind, but the storm wasnt as bad as last year.

Running on 91 octane electricity for the last 24 hours, so much green house gas from the generator, it's probably what caused the storm.
