Is the ai just messing with you or has it ever sent out an email with results?

I was playing with the engineer on character.ai and it strung me along for a week before giving me bogus links. 😆 I fell for it. But by the time it had apologized for the seventh time and provided yet a new link that was now correct I realized it was bullshitting me.
