THEY really seem to be trying to get as many people as possible to watch the Super Bowl this year. My cynicism doesn't allow me to think a contrived romance between a Pfizer-jock Romeo and a crooning demonic Juliet is just a marketing ploy. What is it THEY really want people to see? Joe Buck says there's going to be "a mess." If I were the suspicious type, I'd say THEY are sowing predictive programming into the air––or throwing out triggers for brainwashed 3-letter drones to do a terror. Watch for repetition of phrases or words in the next few days.
Of course, Joe Buck might only be worried about the traffic in Vegas. It could be that nothing more exciting than a pass interception happens on the field, and that we will barely be amused by the attempt to man-up the image of Bud Light as if Dylan Mulvaney never happened, but my spidey sense says, not so fast. The tingles are telling me that there's something more going on here than football and its associated marketing, and if nothing happens, I will suspect something did happen that wasn't according to the plan.
