We use the term sheep for people a lot. I think people are more like a school of fish though. A school of fish always sticks together. It's basically a line of thinking that there is safety in numbers. Everyone stick together and it will be alright.
In reality, by behaving this way, they actually make it easier for the predator fish to hunt them down and gorge. For example, sailfish, swordfish, marlin, etc. surround a school of smaller fish, bring them to the surface, and then basically take turns swimming right through the school of fish with their mouths open and just flat-out gorge. It's like heading to a buffet with a vacuum cleaner.
All that to say, all these leftists think they are safe if they stick together. If they follow the school they will fit in and be loved, etc.
However, once they realize what's really going on, which is happening all over the place right now, they quickly disengage with the school of fish and try to act like they were never so foolish.
They'll just sit in the weeds and wait it out, hoping no one else noticed their pathetic behavior.
