I have been tested twice in my life using the Myers-Briggs Personality Inventory, and both times have revealed to me that I am in the relatively rare INTJ category. I've long suspected that I am at the high-functioning end of the Asperger's Scale, but when I read the characteristics of the INTJ personality, I fully recognize my traits in the descriptions.
If you're interested in finding out more about yourself, find someone who can give the test. Businesses often will test their employees to see where they all fall in the 16 personality types. It's not a judgement, and they don't do it to fire people; they just want employees to see how and why they all interact the way they do.
Both times I took the test was at the behest of my employers, but years apart. One was a highly technical engineering company, and the last one was at a research university.
Basically it takes all 16 kinds of personalities to run the world and businesses, and all types have their places and necessary traits.
I believe I tested as same - but it was some crazy online thing so who knows if accurate or not. I do know I take things quite literally. It takes me a few to realize if that wasn't the type of answer they were looking for with the question 🙈
Gotcha... sorry, I sometimes take things a little too literally. In my defense, I'm an INTJ and have always done that.
It's all good. It could easily be taken as "You're an idiot" type of post. I should have elaborated.
Thank you for posting that!!! I drive my friends crazy because I am extremely literal minded.

We get a lot of odd looks, don't we? 😆
