I have a question friends. My 66 yo dad was diagnosed with diabetes and im curious if its curable. I dont trust medical.
🧐 Research Wanted 🤔
Some diabetes medications seem to do more harm than good. He is otherwise healthy. He did get 2 jabs and lost some weight after he stopped driking liquor. Os there anything he can do besides entering the medical world to treat/cure and getting on those scary meds? Thanks agead of time. I know this isnt the place but i yrust yall more than anywhere else. Thats crazy in and of itself 🤣
Converting to a keto or carnivore diet is the only way to make an impact without taking more insulin. Insulin resistance drives the disease. On a side note, keto causes pretty drastic weight loss. I switched over in November after a gall bladder attack to a keto diet and have lost 20 pounds in 10 weeks. Body aches are going away, glucose fasting dropped from 99 to 80 even before I lost very many pounds. It took about 7 weeks or so for my energy levels to return at the gym as my body was used to burning sugars and not fats. I am not diabetic, but I've seen several friends who are diabetic who were either able to curtail or eliminate their dependence on insulin.
