It's already going up; did she not know this? It hasn't been 65 for full SS retirement for several years. It goes up a month for every year of age past a certain birth year. People born in 1963 can't get full SS until they are 67. I don't know what the maximum age currently is; perhaps all the way up to 70?

Thank you for sharing this information. I did not realize it went up because of my birth year which was not affected. Important to get the correct information out. Ask her to confirm this.
